SUMMARY:UN Vote International Day of Action - Birmingham
DESCRIPTION:Join us outside Lloyds Bank\, New Street on Wednesday 28 Octobe
r in solidarity with Cuba!\nThe 60 year genocidal US blockade MUST be dism
antled and Cuba MUST be allowed to thrive. The world has voted against the
blockade for the 33 consecutive years\, isolating this criminal attack on
a small island nation.\nThe annual UN vote is a powerful expression of in
ternational solidarity\, but solidarity must be turned into struggle. Anti
-imperialists must answer Cuba’s call and fight to end this blockade! NO
WAR ON CUBA! BRITISH BANKS – UNBLOCK CUBA!
