Kevan Thakrar has been incarcerated in the highly punitive Close Supervision Centre (CSC) system since 2010 when he was accused of the attempted murder of three prison officers at Frankland prison, despite having been acquitted in court.
Kevan is currently at Full Sutton CSC where, just before Christmas 2019, he was attacked for the second time by a racist prisoner, with no intervention from the staff, despite the CSC being an environment in which the tiniest infraction is usually severely punished.
