Nottingham RCG in solidarity with the Stansted 15

On Tuesday 19 December (International Migrants Day), Nottingham RCG supported a mobilisation in solidarity with the Stansted 15. The mobilisation follows the conviction on terrorism charges of the Stansted 15 protestors, who earlier in the year took direct action to stop a charter deportation flight (http://www.revolutionarycommunist.org/britain/fight-racism/5164-defend-the-stansted-15). Many people turned out on a rainy evening for a march through the city centre. Our comrade spoke to the demonstration about the role that Britain’s border controls play in defending imperialism, and of the need for a response based on revolutionary class politics.
